Surface Detection at Oil & Gas terminals

Optimized Surface Radar Detection could be effective when you would like to monitor the area around a remote gas terminal, as in the area above, a terminal area in far away in Arkoma, USA.

Surface Detection at the Gas terminal
You could detect small targets moving on the sand, sand dunes and on the dirty road into the terminal purposely built for transports to the Gas terminal. You could detect liquefied gas, if it’s spilled out, when it would expand over the surface.

This is an example where you could use an optimized surface detection radar system together with f.e. Laser sensor, to increase your Safety and Security – you would get a qualified Surface Detection system.

You could detect small fast targets moving through the area
.
Any small or bigger target moving over the covered area will be detected.

RADAR TECHNOLOGY’s new radars is designed for optimized surface detection,
as of inland oil & gas terminals. They are easy to install in remote, harsh, locations, also to be operated remotely.
The weight of the radar is less than most of the radars available today, making them easier to install out there. These new radars could be EX Certified, which is a firm requirement on a Gas Terminal. The modular design makes it easier for technical service when the radar is located also in a tricky, complex location.
